Centamin has been exploring for gold in Egypt since 1995, and in 2005 was granted a 160km 2 exploitation lease over the massive Sukari Hill gold project (see document p. 21)
Location of the SUKARI Project
Sukari is located in the Eastern Desert of Egypt, some 800km south east of Cairo by road and 15km west of the Red Sea. Sukari is a large mineralised system which the Directors believe to be capable of hosting a multi-million ounce gold deposit.

Geology of the SUKARI Project
