The Svetloye Gold Project is located in the Khabarovsk Region of eastern Russia approximately 750km west of Magadan, close to the port of Okhotsk.

History of the Svetloye Project
Phelps Dodge Exploration Corporation, through its subsidiary PD Russia, Inc. ("PDRI"), was active at Svetloye for 2 field seasons (2003 and 2004) and identified a 7km² zone of epithermal gold mineralization.
