Geology of the EL PILAR Project |
|
The geology of the El Pilar property consists of Precambrian intrusive rocks overlain by Paleozoic sedimentary rocks. These units are overlain by Tertiary sedimentary rocks. Intrusives of granitic to monzonitic composition with some pegmatitic and aplitic facies intrude all the older units. Tertiary conglomerate and Quaternary sediments cover the flanks of the ranges and
the intervening valleys.
