Lac Herbin is located about 10 km northeast of the town of Val-d’Or, a historic and well known mining district in northwestern Quebec, Canada.

History of the LAC HERBIN Project |
Gold exploration on the Aurbel property dates back to 1920 and culminated with the mining of two deposits, namely the Dumont and Ferderber mines between 1980 and 1994. The first intersection linked to the Lac Herbin deposit was hit by surface diamond drilling in January 1995 by Aur Resources. The Lac Herbin zone was intersected by 23 holes during this program, and the WE zone was also identified.
