The Project is strategically located between the Vasilkovskoe gold deposit on the northwest and the Asku gold deposits on the southeast.
 
History of the Uzboy project
Since May of 2002, Alhambra has systematically explored the oxidized portion of the Uzboy West and Uzboy East gold deposits. In March 2003, A.C.A. Howe International Limited ("Howe") completed a Preliminary Assessment of the oxidized portion of the Uzboy gold deposits that recommended among other things a heap leach test in compliance with Kazakhstani requirements.
