History of the Ridgeway Project
The Ridgeway deposit, discovered in November 1996, lies 500 metres below the surface and 3 kilometres north-west of the Cadia Hill open cut mine. Operations at the Ridgeway mine commenced in FY 2001 with the initial ore being treated through the Cadia Hill treatment plant. The Ridgeway treatment plant was officially opened in April 2002. The Ridgeway project was developed on time and on budget.
 
Geology of the Ridgeway Project
Ridgeway is the westernmost deposit identified within the Cadia mineralized corridor. The Ridgeway ore body measures approximately 450 metres by 250 metres and currently extends more than 850 metres vertically. The mineralization remains open at dept more...
