History of the FINLAYSON Project
Yukon Zinc (Expatriate) made Canada's first significant emerald discovery in 1998 within the Finlayson District of the Yukon. Exploration during 1999 demonstrated emerald mineralization over a large area and produced some gem quality emeralds.

Geology of the FINLAYSON Project
The mid-Paleozoic volcanic and sedimentary rocks hold the promise of hosting large tonnages of high-grade massive sulphides. Similar volcanogenic massive sulphide districts have been very productive in Canada and abroad, and have enjoyed long histories of discovery and development.
