Geology of the BANCROFT Project
The properties are located in the Grenville Province of the Canadian Shield, which hosts two main rock types: highly metamorphosed metasediments, which are composed mainly of marble, paragneiss, and amphibolite, and plutonic rocks, composed mainly of granite, syenite, and gabbro. The majority of the uranium mineralization is associated with dykes of felsic pegmatite.
