Centerra can earn a 50% interest in Akarca and Elmali by completing US$5,000,000 in exploration expenditures over four years. Within 30 days of completing the earn-in requirements, Centerra will also be required to pay EMX US$1,000,000. Centerra may earn an additional 20% in the properties, bringing the total to 70%, by spending a further US$5,000,000 over two years.
Location of the AKARCA Project
The Akarca gold-silver property (pronounced "ak-ar-jaa") is located in northwestern Turkey.

History of the AKARCA Project
The property was discovered by Company geologists in 2006 by following-up regional stream sediment anomalies. The property is comprised of 135 square kilometers of EMX exploration licenses.

Geology of the AKARCA Project
The geology at Akarca is dominated by Neogene-aged basin fill sedimentary rocks that unconformably overlie Paleozoic-aged schists and re-crystallized limestones. There are multiple zones of gold-silver vein mineralization that trend both northeast-southwest and northwest-southeast. The zones consist of parallel to sub-parallel quartz veins and veinlets.
