History of the Darby & Candle Project
Darby & Candle are located in proximity to the two highest grade, large uranium deposits in the world - Cigar Lake and McArthur River.
 
Geology of the Darby & Candle Project
Basement lithology includes graphitic-pyritic pelite, graphitic-pyritic cordierite-sillimanite-garnet metapelite, minor pegmatite and minor banded calc-silicate; similar to Cigar Lake. Hydrothermal alteration, including anomalous uranium, copper, cobalt, nickel, vanadium and boron in proximity to the basal Athabasca unconformity. Demonstrated vertical unconformity fault offsets of at least 45m.
