Location of the Barlee Project
The project is located within the Archaean Southern Cross Province, 200km north of the town of Southern Cross where gold production has been over 5.0 Moz of gold, and is considered highly prospective for structurally controlled, mesothermal gold mineralisation.

History of the Barlee Project
The Barlee Project has received sporadic exploration for gold since 1990, and although ultramafic lithologies are found within the greenstone belt, no exploration for nickel has been completed since a cursory review in the early 1970’s.

Geology of the Barlee Project
Mineralisation intersected to date occurs as quartz-sulphide veins and veinlets associated with silica-biotite-epidote+/- fuchsite +/- garnet alteration zones that range for metres to 10’s of metres wide. There also appears to be a distal biotite dominant alteration zone.
