Los Bajios is about 6 kilometers southwest of the Estrella Pit and 3 kilometers west of the leach pads.
 
History of the Los Bajios Project
On a regional scale there are nine grassroots exploration targets that have potential for discovery, including El Realito, El Halcon, Los Bajios, La Dura, El Jaspe, Cerro Pelon, La Yaqui, Carboneras and El Carricito. In 2005, Alamos focused on drilling the El Jaspe and Los Bajios prospects and generating targets within several of the project areas.
 
Geology of the Los Bajios Project
