Location of the Aldermac Project
The Elder mine property is located 10 km northwest of Rouyn Noranda, Quebec.

History of the Aldermac Project
Following the first discovery of Gold bearing quartz veins in 1933, extensive drilling was undertaken. Elder Gold Mines acquired the property in 1944 and started to mine it. Aunore Resources were the subsequent owners. In 1989, after reviewing the data from Aunore's drill program, SNC validated the company's ore resources for the Elder Mine.

Geology of the Aldermac Project
The mineralogy of the ore is quite simple, being comprised principally of pyrite with lesser pyrrhotite and carrying minor chalcopyrite, sphalerite and magnetite in a gangue of quartz.
