Camino Rojo is over 340,000 hectares (1,300 square miles) in size and is located in northeast Zacatecas State, approximately 50km southeast of Goldcorp Inc.'s Penasquito mine.

Canplats has completed more than 38,000 metres of drilling at Camino Rojo and expects to publish an initial resource estimate by year-end. In addition to ongoing drilling, a property-wide exploration program is underway to outline additional targets in adjacent, overburden covered areas.
