Mexivada Mining Corp. has executed and controls a 4-year license to conduct exploration with an option to purchase a 100 percent interest in the La Republica Mine property in Chihuahua, Mexico, 12 kilometres south of Mexivada's Yécora property.

History of the La Republica Mine |
La Republica was reported to have been the highest grade silver producer in Mexico at the time of its closure in 1911 due to the advent of the Mexican Revolution. By 1908 the mine was reported to have produced more than 5,000,000 ounces of silver, at high grades.
