Location of the Gavilanes Project |
Gavilanes is located 43 miles east of Culiacan, Durango State, west-central Mexico.
History of the Gavilanes Project |
Previous exploration outlined a large, bulk-mineable disseminated gold target of at least 2300 feet x 1970 feet. Due to talus cover and shallow, post-mineral volcanics to the east, this target could be much larger.

Geology of the Gavilanes Project |
Gold occurs as disseminated and fracture controlled mineralization in intrusive dacite porphyries and in the matrix of various hydrothermal breccias. In addition, there are four high-grade quartz veins on the property that were mined in the past for gold and silver.
