History of the Sturgeon Lake Project
Sturgeon Lake Mine: In the late 70's produced 2.1 Mt of 2.98% Cu, 10.64% Zn, 1.47% Pb, 6.14 opt Ag and 0.21 opt Au. Previous work has included a number of 1970 vintage geophysical surveys and a total of 49,747 meters of drilling in 263 holes. In 1988 and 1989, Minnova conducted line cutting, 35 km of transient electromagnetic survey and 8 drill holes for 5,475 m.
 
Geology of the Sturgeon Lake Project
