Re:        News Release - Wednesday, November 14, 2007
Title:     Mesa Uranium Extends Mineralization Around L-15 Discovery Hole - RAD Target Area Drilling

Mesa Uranium Corp.(TSX.V: MZU) ("Mesa") reports results from the recently completed late summer 2007 drilling program at the 100%-owned Lisbon Valley uranium property in the Lisbon Valley Mining District of Southeastern Utah.

L-15 Step-out Exploration

A total of 5 holes were drilled within 150 feet of the highly mineralized discovery hole L-15 with all holes encountering uranium mineralization. As previously announced (please see news release dated 9/10/2007), L-15 encountered 3.5 feet grading 0.28% U3O8 (5.6 pounds/ton) within a larger zone grading 0.11% U3O8 (2.2 pounds/ton) over 17.5 feet. The mineralization found in L-15 was hosted in thick basal Moss Back sandstone with negligible mudstone representing a high-energy stream channel with conditions ideal for significant U3O8 deposition.

Interpretation of the geology of the current drill holes suggests thickening sandstones and uranium potential will be encountered to the north and northeast in higher-energy portions of the ancient stream channel and elsewhere along the large un-drilled northwest-southeast Lisbon Mine - L-15 trend. L-15 is located over 8,500 feet southeast of the Lisbon Mine, the largest mine in the district with historic production of 20 million pounds of U3O8. Mesa geologists are currently planning the upcoming 2008 drill program and are excited about the potential for discovery in this highly prospective area.

Results for the five L-15 step-out holes are as follows (depths are to the base of mineralization):

Hole Depth Thickness eU3O8 % Pounds Per Ton U3O8
       (feet) (feet)

RAD Target Drilling

The RAD claims were staked by Mesa in 2006 along a mineral trend discovered by Homestake Mining in the 1970's and extended by Energy Fuels Nuclear in the late 1980's. Mapping based on the 1980's drilling shows a north to south trending mineral front approximately 2.5 miles long. Geologic interpretation and historic drilling by Energy Fuels Nuclear indicates 3 pods on the trend: the Alpha, Alf, and Rophe pods and shows multiple drill hole intercepts "Exceeding 0.22% U3O8" (4.4 pounds per ton).

This 2.5 mile-long mineralized front is on Mesa's 100%-owned RAD and DAR claims and will be explored in 2008. A 50-50 joint venture is currently being negotiated between Mesa and Energy Fuels Resources for exploration of the DAR claims (please see the news release dated 6/5/2007).

Mineralization on the RAD claims is hosted within permeable Cutler sandstones underlying the Moss Back sandstone. Multiple mines in the historic Lisbon Valley District southeast of the RAD claims hosted ore in these Cutler sandstones. From south to north these mines were the Bacardi, Section 2 (Mesa-owned), Reprise (Mesa-owned), and La Sal #2. Mesa geologists believe this ore was re-mobilized from the Lisbon Valley District Moss Back deposits and re-deposited in down-dip Cutler sandstones.

Results for Mesa's recent orientation drilling on the RAD claims are as follows (depths are to the base of mineralization):

Hole Depth Thickness eU3O8 % Pounds Per Ton U3O8
R-1 1,091 5.5 0.07 1.4
R-2 Nil nil
R-3 1,025 1.0 0.05 1.0
R-4 901 1.0 0.02 0.4
The uranium mineralization appears to be "tail" type mineralization indicating that the mineralizing front passed through these hole locations, began precipitating uranium at the top and bottom sandstone/mudstone contacts, and passed to the west where the full oxidation-reduction of the uranium took place. Mesa will perform more drilling on the RAD and DAR claims in 2008.

All holes were logged by Century Geophysical of Tulsa, Oklahoma to produce a log suite of Gamma, Spontaneous Potential (SP), and Resistivity values. The Gamma portion of the down-hole logging tool was calibrated at uranium-industry standard pits located in Casper, Wyoming. In situ uranium grades, expressed as equivalent U3O8 (eU3O8) are calculated using the digital gamma ray values acquired by the down-hole logging tool and uranium industry standard techniques for gamma log interpretation. Down-hole gamma log interpretation has historically been found to be an accurate representation of in situ grades for uranium mineralization in the Lisbon Valley District. Drilling was performed by Bob Beeman Drilling of Moab, Utah.

About Mesa Uranium

Mesa Uranium Corp. is a uranium exploration company focused on proven uranium districts in the western United States. Mesa's lead project is the 100%-owned, 28 square mile Lisbon Valley project in the Lisbon Valley Mining District in Utah. The District produced over 85 million pounds of U3O8, at some of the highest uranium grades in the United States, averaging 0.4% U3O8. The Lisbon Valley Mining District is located in the Colorado Plateau region, 30 miles south of Moab, in San Juan County, Utah.
