Serengeti is a mineral exploration company managed by an experienced team of professionals with a solid track record of exploration success. The Company is focused on the advancement of its Kwanika copper-gold project where a NI 43-101 compliant Indicated Resource contains 1.6 million ounces of gold and 1.1 billion pounds of copper in the Central Zone. Drilling on the Kwanika property in 2009 targeted a separate zone of mineralization located two kilometers away, known as the South Zone. Here, seven holes testing a 350 meter segment of a 2.3 kilometer long target intersected an average of 0.64% copper-equivalent (0.41% copper, 0.09 g/t gold, 2.1 g/t silver, 0.022% molybdenum) over 126 meters extending from surface to over 500 meters in depth. The initial resource estimate for the South Zone will incorporate results from the 2009 program as well as from holes drilled in the area in 2008 and is anticipated to be completed early in the new year. A major follow-up drilling program is planned for the South Zone in 2010. The Company is well funded to advance its projects with a current working capital position of $8.6 million which includes $2.2 million receivable from the B.C. government's METC program. Serengeti has 45.8 million shares issued and outstanding or 51.3 million shares on a fully diluted basis.
