VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - Bayfield Ventures Corp. (News - Market indicators) (FRANKFURT:B4N) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has earned a 100% interest, subject to a 2% NSR, in approx. 1340 acres in three properties (namely two "C" claim blocks and the "Burns" claim block) located in the Richardson, Sifton, and Pattullo Townships, Rainy River District, NW Ontario.

Full and final property option payments have been made in connection with the Company's Property Option Agreements dated November 29, 2006, November 30, 2006, February 1, 2007, and September 26, 2007.

The Company is in the process of registering title for its two "C" claim blocks. The "Burns" claim block title is expected to be registered later this year.
