Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. is a diversified gold mining company focused on production and exploration over four core properties in Vietnam, E. Malaysia and the northern Philippines. The Company acquired the Bong Mieu Gold and Phuoc Son Gold Properties in 1997 and is now operating two underground gold mines and processing ore through our plant at Bong Mieu. Annual gold production at Bong Mieu closed out at approximately 34,000 oz (December 31, 2010). Gold production is targeted to expand to 45,000 oz in 2011 upon the commissioning of the new Phuoc Son plant during the second quarter 2011.
In Bau E. Malaysia Olympus has recently increased its ownership at Bau from 50.05 to 80.53% and over the next two years the Company expects its stake to rise to 93.55% (See Olympus Press Release dated, May 24, 2011). Company geologists have identified several large underground CDI anomalies at Bau and will be prioritizing its exploration efforts in the region during 2011 with 20,000 m. The Company has a NI 43-101/JORC Resource Estimate at its three core properties (See Reserve & Resource Estimates www.olympuspacific.com).
