(TSX:LSG) ("Lake Shore Gold" or "the Company") today announced that it has commenced processing development ore from the Timmins Mine advanced exploration program at its 100% owned Bell Creek Mill with a target of producing 30,000 ounces of gold in 2009, increasing to 100,000 ounces in 2010. The Mill, with a current capacity of 800 tonnes per day, will initially run in campaigns processing stockpiles of development ore. The Mill will run on a more continuous basis as the year progresses and deliveries from the Timmins Mine increase.
