Ucore Uranium Featured in Online Podcast Interview
(Vancouver, BC. April 15, 2008) Ucore Uranium Inc. (TSX-V: UCU) is pleased to announce that the company's President and CEO, Jim McKenzie, is featured in a podcast interview with uranium news website U3O8.biz. The interview was conducted during a session break at the 2008 Canadian Uranium Symposium, held in Vancouver on April 2-3, where Mr. McKenzie served as Symposium Chair and Moderator.
The 20 minute audio interview, available at www.U3O8.biz, touches on the current state of uranium markets, including the effects of global trading, oversold uranium stock prices, elements required of successful juniors, and looks ahead to the market's future.
"There's a great deal of preauthorized investor relations information and carefully worded news pieces which are now released into the marketplace," said McKenzie after the interview. "By contrast, U3O8.biz is looking for real issues affecting underlying market trends. The U3O8 team are pursuing a route that the industry very much needs right now, which is in-depth investigative journalism. They're answering real questions, and investors will be drawn to that."
U3O8.biz offers uranium investors and the industry comprehensive news, views and commentary on all aspects of the uranium business, including information on the industry's leading companies, players, newsmakers and events.
The 2008 Canadian Uranium Symposium was administered by The Canadian Institute, and is the first of several prospective forums to be focused on the international uranium and nuclear power sectors. The Symposium, held at Vancouver's Four Seasons Hotel, featured presentations by numerous leaders in the sector, including representatives of national regulatory agencies, investment banks, academic and research facilities, as well as the exploration and business communities.
Ucore Uranium Inc. is a junior exploration company focused on establishing uranium resources through exploration and property acquisition. With more than
twenty active projects, Ucore's primary focus is the 100% owned Bokan Mountain uranium and rare earth element property in Alaska.
