Gamma Resource Estimation

Calgary, AB - February 20, 2008 - Leeward Capital Corp. (TSX-V: LWC)

Leeward is pleased to report that the company is in receipt of a NI 43-101 resource estimate on the Gamma Zone located on Nithi Mountain eight kilometers south of Fraser Lake in central British Columbia. This NI 43-101 compliant resource was estimated by Mr. James A. Kelley, P.Geol, P.Eng, who is a Qualified Person (QP) under these regulations.

An inferred resource of 84,315,900 tonnes grading 0.028% Mo (0.047% MoS₂) using a 0.020% Mo (0.034% MoS₂) cut off is estimated on the Gamma Zone based on 79 diamond drill holes completed. The resource estimation was based on blocks inferred from correlation of mineralized drill intercepts projected on standard drill cross-sections using a minimum core length of five meters.

These sub-horizontal mineralized zones exposed on surface and  are readily amenable to exploitation by open pit methods. The report includes a recommendation for 50 additional drillholes with the goals of expanding the reported resource and to upgrade the resource to the next category of drill indicated. For reference, moly prices are quoted per pound of moly oxide (MoO₃), which is currently trading at $33.00 per pound, Thus, 0.028% Mo equates to 0.042% MoO₃ or just under one pound per tonnes.

In addition, exploration drilling is recommended on the Delta, Sigma and Theta zones, which along with the Gamma Zone are located within the four by five kilometer Alpha Trend. The Alpha trend is defined by coincident molybdenum geochemical anomalies, a magnetic low, as well as potassium and apparent resistivity highs. Nearly all the known molybdenum showings on the Nithi Mountain Moly Property are located with this trend. To date, only about 10% of this trend has been drill tested.

The property is well situated with regard to infrastructure and is road accessible; 8 kilometers from the Village of Fraser Lake which services the producing Endako Moly mine which is located 18 km west-northwest of the Gamma deposit. In addition, a major trunk electrical power line, a major road (HY 16), and the main CN rail line are important power and transportation lines are conveniently located at the base of Nithi Mountain.
