The Stockton Fire Department battled a two-alarm house fire after a honey oil lab exploded Wednesday afternoon.
The fire happened in the 4300 block of Pebble Beach Drive just before 4:30 p.m.
According to investigators two men were severely burned. They were taken to US Davis Medical Center in critical condition.
The neighborhood where the explosion, and subsequent two-alarm fire, happened is an affluent neighborhood with homes starting the $500K to millions, according to Stockton Fire officials.
Firefighters ask that people stay clear of the area.
