The Corporation generated revenues of $1,891,535 during the 2nd Quarter 2015 compared to $1,762,360 during the second quarter that ended April 30, 2014 being an increase of approximately 7 %. For the six months period ended April 30, 2015, Corporation's revenues was $3,283,118 compared to revenues of $3,108,607 for the same six months period ended April 30, 2014 which represents an approximate increase of 6%.
The Corporation recorded earnings before income taxes of $195,768 for the 2nd Quarter 2015 compared to earnings before income taxes of $169,835 for the same period in 2014. For the six months period ended April 30, 2015, the Corporation recorded earnings before income taxes of $84,219 compared to earnings before income taxes of $145,873 for the same period in 2014.
The Corporation recorded net earnings of $195,768 for the 2nd Quarter 2015 compared to net earnings of $169,835 for the same period in 2014. For the six months period ended on April 30, 2015, the Corporation recorded net earnings of $84,219 compared to net earnings of $145,873 for the same period in 2014.
It should be noted that the fluctuation of the Canadian dollar compare with the American dollar has a significant impact on the Corporation's results. On the one hand, the Corporation buys its two main raw materials, perlite and vermiculite, in American dollars and sells all of its products in Canadian dollars. On the other, the amount of a claim from a former vermiculite supplier filed against the Corporation and recorded as account payable is in American dollars et changes following the Canadian dollars fluctuation.
