Petrobras looking at offer for two fertilizer plants

World Fertilizer,

According to Reuters, Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) – the Brazilian state-run oil company – is currently considering an offer for two of its fertilizer factories.

The company is reportedly considering the offer for its UFN III and Araucaria factories as it plans to exit the fertilizer business.

This latest announcement follows the earlier report by Reuters that Petrobras will mothball two other fertilizer factories towards the end of 1H18.

Petrobras’ Jorge Celestino Ramos reportedly said that no offers were made for the two now-mothballed factories, but added that their assets are still for sale.
