Ascot Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (News - Market indicators) is pleased to announce that it has increased the size of its previously announced non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement"). The Company now intends to issue up to an aggregate of approximately 5,700,000 units ("Units") at a price of $0.70 per Unit for aggregate gross proceeds of up to approximately $3,990,000.

Each Unit will consist of one share and one non-transferable warrant. Each warrant will be exercisable at a price of $0.70 for a period of two years from the closing of the Private Placement.

All securities issued pursuant to the Offering will be subject to a four month hold period.
