The Board of Urals Energy PCL (AIM:UEN) (the "Board"), the independent exploration and production company with operations in Russia, notes the rise this morning in the Company's share price and the speculation online regarding a possible offer for Urals Energy.
The Company confirms that it has not received an approach with regards to a possible takeover of Urals Energy.
Aside from the unfounded speculation, the Board is not aware of any reason for today's share price movement.
