May 28, 2015, Vancouver, British Columbia - Calico Resources Corp.  (TSX-V: CKB) (�Calico� or �the Company�) is pleased to announce that it has received all necessary regulatory approvals and closed its non-brokered private placement (the �Private Placement�) financing announced on May 6, 2015.

The Company issued 25,000,000 common shares in this Private Placement, raising total gross proceeds of $2,000,000.  No warrants, commissions or finder�s fees were paid in connection with this financing. 

All securities issued by the Company in connection with the private placement are subject to a statutory hold period which expires on September 29, 2015.

FCMI Parent Co., a Company controlled by Albert D. Friedberg and members of his family, subscribed for 14.9 million shares in this Private Placement, increasing its ownership in Calico to approximately 19.9%.

Proceeds from the Private Placement will be used to continue the permitting process for Calico�s 100% owned Grassy Mountain gold project in Oregon and to fund general working capital requirements.
