La semaine dernière, la demande en or était tiraillée avec d'une part une diminution de 90% de la demande en ce qui concerne l’American Eagle par rapport à l’année dernière. Ainsi, il ne s’en est vendu que 5,5 koz (1 koz est égal à 1000 onces) en février, ce qui constitue le niveau le plus bas depuis l’année 2007.
Ainsi, les 64 koz vendus depuis le début de l’année restent pour l’instant le niveau le moins élevé depuis 2008.

| Où en est l'or ?Le budget indien pour l’année fiscale 2019 n’a pas eu les conséquences attendues par l’industrie aurifère sur l’importation de l’or. Ainsi, les importations indiennes d’or physique ont diminué avant même la publication du budget en prévision d’une diminution des droits à l’importation. A présent que la publication a levé le voile sur les droits à l’importation, celles-ci pourraient reprendre à court terme.
