Kunstler is too much! In article after article he bewails modern civilization, denigrates technology, and urges a return to the pre-industrial 'simple life'.

Then, when he has a major medical issue, where does he turn? To the local jungle shaman? No. To some religious sect to be prayed over? No. To the Christian Scientists who don't believe in medical intervention? Not to any of those. He turns, and I'm sure with the utmost rapidity, to the modern industrial medical profession.

And as he recovers in his modern medical room, hooked up to tubes and whatnot, he takes the time to watch HONEY BOO BOO trying, once again, to knock the superficiality of Western Civilization. He doesn't seem to understand that the same free enterprise system that would cure his ills is the same one that will produce trash shows like HONEY BOO BOO and the strips malls he despises.

Well, let me add my wishes that he regain his health and once again regale us with his unintended humor.
