Oh yes. And Joe Bloggs who is renting the house to you is going to jack up the rent when he wants/needs to,or maybe say " sorry lease is up...selling it because i need the money".

What is the point of this article?
Are you gleefully gloating over the fact that you rent and some people who may actually own their residence may have paid too much...when? 3, 10 ,20 yrs ago.

There is much more to a primary residence than price. What about value,location,infrastructure, schools, work, family,among others?

Better analysis is needed here

I can just see you, the missus, the kids and pet dog sitting in a bus shelter one night ...saying " why the bloody hell did I sell that house years ago?"
