The rats own the game Peter so they change the rules as they choose to benefit themselves and their political masters. The rest of us are simply pawns in the game and no matter how much we protest those in charge game play the game according to their rules, not society's. Just wait and see if they don't come for peoples gold if the pack of cards folds. They will.
