Forecast 2014 — Burning Down the House

Bit of a rave..good stuff
I don't mind the Kunstler and I don't give a frack about fracking but he writes well.
Medieval Japan.? Why not? You get a whole bunch of Ninja movies again.
Aside from that I did not read his tome. Maybe later

Here are my forecasts for this year.NO ORDER . RANDOM THOUGHTS
1) Most of the forecasters on 24h and KWN will get it completely wrong…the reason being that they have been completely wrong for the last 2-3 years,and that fact is totally in sync with the stats on letter writers,gurus, financial wizards and experts who sell said info( ha ha)…90% wrong all the time.
2) USA will start a war with somebody, anybody,any country, for any reason,any time they want. There will be no real reason other than that they can. They will win the 'fight' but lose the war just like they have in the wars they have been involved in since they intervened late, very late in WW2.
3) WW3 to start if it hasn't already.
4) Gold will not go anywhere. It will sit where it is NOW until somebody moves it. Who i do not know. But as people have been (supposedly) selling to mostly the EAST,I strongly suggest that will continue because the price will drop to somewhere like $750 USA which of course will be ridiculously cheap until people realise that it is now at that time $500!!!! an ounce. BTW that could be a gram given the state of the $USD.
5) People will realise that the charade known as Obama is an abject failure. Likely there will an attempted assassination, for no reason other than that there an awful lot of people who want to blame someone for their own shortcomings or unfortunate circumstances on someone,anyone, even the PRES.
6)Dan Dontrose will come out of exile, and write something of note…about music maybe?
7)Australia will remain the Lucky Country but it will have nothing to do with the politicians who are hell bent on trying to turn that around
8)Mac Slavo will get his wish. The SWHTF. Marauding hoards will completely overrun his bunker even though he will be farting downwind.
9) Social breakdown in good ole US of A. Hey it's expected. ( hope not)
10)People will realise that you cannot predict Black Swan events because it is completely random. One will occur with absolute certainty…sometime,anytime.
