Sorry, but no. I think you should speak with some of the folks who thought they had gold stored at MF Global. Some animals are more equal than others, cough JP Morgan cough . Does anyone really think GLD's gold is not similarly encumbered? If you as a personal investor think your 'gold' is safe at GLD, you should really do a little more research.
