>Christmas Present  - James Howard Kunstler -
You sound like a man who has lost all hope James. Not perhaps the best way to approach the season where hope is all the (non Muslim) human race has.

Your comments about Trump are pertinent and this man is a raving looney...which has the support he has because Americans are tired of the lying nig business owned politicians and governments they have to have. Nobody ever elected the fossil fuel industry to rule the nation. But it does. Nobody ever elected the gun lobby to rule the nation. But it does. Nobody ever made the tax system for rich citizens to own 90% of everything. But they do. So no wonder a looney like Trump is so popular. Now the 'free Press' will likely do its job for the wealthy. Well you do have Rupert Murdoch now. Having elected his own private government in Australia he may well do the same in America.

And then there is the value of precious metals in a digital money age...............? Go figure.

In other words, Star Wars is all that remains of the US economy outside of the obscure workings of Wall Street — and that heretofore magical realm is not looking too rosy either in this season of the...
