You state that currency is debased when money is created out of thin air, but money supply in the US has TRIPLED in only a few years and the opposite has happened. Value of US currency going up. Same deal in Japan.

I have to agree about your view of statistics. Statistics are widely used by governments to misrepresent the facts and serve their own (propaganda) purposes and ultimately to aid in their re-election.

The most damning example is the current cries of 'deflation' from western governments and economists. Anybody who goes into a supermarket will tell you PRICES ARE GOING UP like a rocket. Those who who employ subcontract labour will tell you likewise. And then there are house prices. Going up as well! Prices are rising FAST, not falling. The panacea is of course the price of fuel.......where consumers have received precious little in the huge drops in fuel prices.

So where is the 'deflation'? Oh yes....in the media. Yeah right.

Not sure what to do with the funds I have sitting in a bank account earning so little but I know I have to do something. That is the million dollar question.
