>The Sunday Night Paper Silver Massacre – Revisited  - Andy Hoffman -
I don`t understand how one can identify a naked short. Also for every seller there is a buyer. If me would just cross from my 01 account to my 02 account. Profit neutral but achieves objective to lower price. Would be interesting to understand who is selling and who is buying. Are those just a best guess. My cartel would simply program to sell from my 01 account and cross to the 02 account at a higher price. Every short then offset by long. Also profit neutral but again achieves objective of higher price. JP would cry like little pigs if this were to happen. Someone must be manipulating the market against them! But I think the only way they could prove is to disrobe their own trading.
Also, I don`t believe that silver is Achilles heel to JP. At end of day Fed will just give them as much $ as they need to recover and continue. Just another bailout. The silver gold paradigm is an illusion just as is the right left political paradigm. It is all an illusion of choice or free market. They have all the money and if run out they simply print more. How much silver and gold could you buy or sell if you operated your own printing press.
