Peter, perhaps you should ask yourself: would a Middle Class making VERY high wages create an economic boom? Back when Henry Ford was paying very high wages, the economy was booming while the CEO of the company was making 20 times the average pay of the line workers. Now industries are paying much lower wages while the CEO of the company is making 255 times the average pay of the line workers. Maybe taxes never have to come in to the equation if the problem gets solved right out of the working gate.
