It sounds racist, so it has to be. Overton Bubble at work, the faculty were programed to respond as if to a Pavlovian Bell. There is no way to change the mind of a man whose paycheck depends on not changing. I've been watching The Last Kingdom from the Bernard Cornwell books, which I have also read, anyway there you have a wonderful study of mixing races, religions and cultures, the losers, in the long game, are always the ones who cannot adapt change.
