Good article on need to prepare. Gold and silver coins are a must. The author also mentioned the evaporation of medical care in a crisis, or at least the difficulty in obtaining it, as well antibiotics.

An episode of Doomsday Preppers mentioned purchasing fish antibiotics online for pennies of what a Dr's presb would cost. I was surprised and skeptical that they were the same, but they appear to be: coming from the same manufacturers of amoxicillin, cipro, penicillin, and others. I purchased a batch of Amoxicillin (fish antibiotics) from Amazon and the fish pills were the same color, had the same code stamped on each pill, with the same dosage as leftover 'real' Doctor's ones I had.

Internet comments say the same thing. But please do your own research before buying - and taking. I won't take mine, or allow family members to, unless a Doctor's source becomes unavailable and we're seriously ill. Having a nurse's reference guide to antibiotics is a must.
