The Republican Party fostered slavery in the South !!!

What a bunch of crock ! To read this report a naive dumb-ass who knows nothing about United States history (about 85% of U.S. population) whould have to conclude that the Republican Party was found in the South.
The Southern Slave States during the years of slavery and for several decades after the Civil War were controlled by the Democrats.
There were for a long time, many KKK members in the Democrat Party, in both Houses of Congress.

It was the Republicans who passed the 1968 Civil Rights Act. The Democrats, fearing Republican landslide elections for decades afterward, used their willing accomplices in the Network News Media to make the black people think it was the Dems who passed it. The Blacks fell for it and have been voting for the vary Party who enslaved them a hundred years earlier.
