>New Year's Resolutions for Congress  - Ron Paul -
Now this from Paul is interesting: "I certainly hope more members of Congress consider the strict libertarian constitutional approach to government in 2013."

Interesting because Ron Paul is NOT a Liberatrian as defined by one who advocates limited government. He was at one time (and I voted for him). But for some years now he has come under the Rasputin sway of Lew Rockwell of the Von Mises Institute and become a neo-anarchist. In other words Paul is for limiited government to the extent that such a move would make it easier to take the final leap to no government. In addition, Paul's constant harping on individual rights is laughable given his refusal to condemn the South's slave system. The only thing he does condemn is Lincoln's destruction of slavery.

Ron Paul is the worst kind of politician who says all the rights things -- until you find out he has a few bolts loose in his cranium: his positions on the right of State secession over individual rights, his blame of American for the Islamic attack of 9/11, his inability to explain the racists articles in his newsletters, and his recent inanity of saying Iran is not a nuclear threat.

Ron Paul is retiring from Congress? I hope the door does hit him on the way out.

Oh, Happy New year to all my friends and followers!
