Going To the Movies

So Kunstler went and hauled his carcass "...over to see Django Unchained and Zero Dark Thirty.." And then, disappointed, he says, " If anything, the event leaves you with a hollow feeling and a bad taste for the time we live in." Duh! If you stick you fingers in a toliet bowl don't be surprised, or disgusted by what you pull out. This is consistent with Kunstler approach to life: he seeks out the worst, finds it and then reports it as a universal truth.

Kunstler could have gone to see Lincoln the movie -- but to seek and recognize greatness is anathema to him.

Début de l'article :I don't go to the movies much anymore, alas, because the nearest mallcineplex -- owned by a company named Regal that runs the place like a self-storage facility -- is a dump with broken seats and teenage employees who forget to turn out the lights when the movie starts.
