The Dashankou and Chahanusu prospects are located approximately 100 km from the City of Korla which is accessed by an all weather highway approximately 600 km from Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Province. Access by road from Korla takes approximately 2 hours. Most of the road is sealed, with only the last 10 to 12 km to the site by gravel roads and tracks.

The Dashankou and Chahanusu prospects exhibit characteristics typical of shear zone hosted gold mineralisation, including intense shearing, sericite-silica-pyrite-siderite alteration envelopes, multiple large to small quartz veins and gold mineralisation in alteration selvedges adjacent to the veins.
