| Application for four “Permisos de Investigación” (Salamanca 1-4) totaling 11,400 hectares were awarded to Mawson after a competitive public tender over areas previously held by the Spanish Government under the uranium State Reserve “Ciudad Rodrigo, Nº 322”. The “Permisos de Investigación” will be processed and granted for an initial period of three years. |

The Salamanca uranium project is located in the Argañan district of western Salamanca Province, between Ciudad Rodrigo and near the Portuguese border of central western Spain . The district is one of two principal historic uranium mining and processing areas within the country.
