The undrilled Kru gold-silver Prospect is on the northern edge of the central cordillera of New Guinea, straddling the Leonard Schultz Thrust zone. The area is 65 km to the east of the massive Frieda River porphyry copper prospect.

The EL covers a diverse suite of prospective lithologies and major structural zones, with exploration targets known to include porphyry copper – gold deposits, epithermal gold, quartz sulphide veins, and lateritic and sulphide nickel.
