The Santa Teresa property covers an area of approximately 8,715 hectares and is located in central Coahuila state, roughly 120 km. north of the capital city of Saltillo. The property is easily accessible by road being roughly 15 km. west of the main north-south highway between Saltillo and the iron smelting centre of Monclova (approximately 80 km. to the north).

There has been extensive, small-scale mining activity on the property as is witnessed by at least 40 sets of old workings - some of them very extensive. Most of this work dates from the late 19th and early 20th century and would be characterized as artisanal mining. There is no evidence of any modern exploration work and certainly no drilling.
