It is located approximately 40 kms south of Postville and 80 kms from Makkovik at the eastern end of the Central Mineral Belt.

The property was originally discovered almost thirty years ago by a previous exploration company. When Aurora began drilling at the site in 2005 it contained a resource of approximately 18 million pounds of uranium*. Subsequent exploration over the past three years has significantly increased the size of the deposit.
